Time has come to appreciate the natural beauty instead of altering the reality.
We live in an era where people are judged on the basis of manner they carry themselves in. Everyone wants to stand apart from the crowd with the best looks. Some even go to the heights of changing the body features nature has blessed them with. We are human and we can never be satisfied with what we have! This demand has given rise to what we call cosmetics. These chemicals made products are easily available in the market. They make fortune for the companies producing them but do they really produce the results expected of them? & Can they be compared to the natural home-made products for beauty?
It’s time we explore some facts:
Not everything is revealed–
When we purchase the cosmetics from the market we generally pick the product with attractive tagline & colorful packaging. Hardly do we give a look at the section ‘Contents’ at the backside of the product. The companies don’t reveal the actual contents of the product on the front display. Most of the contents are too harmful to the human body. This strategy has been going on for hundreds of years but we are blind to the actual measuring parameters while purchasing cosmetics. While in the case of home-made products we are the one who selects the contents. Thus, we kill all the chances of any hidden secret in the product.
The chances of side effects are 99/100–
The cosmetics don’t come with a warning disclaimer but they harm us in one way or another. Sometimes from a minor headache to swelling of the face, the destruction caused is unpredictable. We spend money expecting a product to do wonders for us, to bring all the glory we deserve. But mostly the final outcome fails all the expectations… They leave us with a broken heart & other harmful effects also accompany. Deep down we know that altering reality can be risky but we play with our chances. To be on the safer side one should really stick to the use of home-made products. They have zero chances of negative results. They might not turn out with the best outcome but they won’t spoil what we already have.
The cost of cosmetics is sky-high–
Only one thing which beats the stock market rates in price fluctuation is the price of cosmetics products. The rates of the products literally burn a deep hole inside the wallet. We literally have no choice but to accept them as we are too much obsessed with getting unexpected results. The beauty companies have turned the market upside down with profit trends. They set records fooling 1 out of every two customers across the globe. According to recent surveys, a person spends as much as 40% of his income on artificial products. But we never realize that we are investing in something which comes with zero guarantees of benefits. The opposite is the scenario with home-made products. The money spent on them is almost negligible as compared to artificial products. If used in a correct combination they guarantee the best results we can’t even dream of.
The Shift of focus from customers to competition–
The level of competitiveness amongst the cosmetics producing companies is really high. Their only aim is to make the maximum financial turnovers & beat the rival company in the market. No-where is the customer in the picture. Not even a single company cares about what feedback the customer has for them. Instead, they just keep track of strategies what rival company is preparing & how to be one step ahead of them. Companies keep swinging like a pendulum between the money-making tactics to boost their shares in the market. We as a customer are no more the primary targets of these money monsters. They aim at the ego of an individual which keeps him in the race of beating others. Talking of home-made, we are the solo givers & takers of what it has to offer. If the benefits are up to the level of expectation, we are delighted.
Home-made products can be trusted with both eyes closed. The cosmetics can never match the benefits offered by home-made products. We should step aside from the league of beauty. Put the focus on what is actually beneficial for our body. It’s high time we start appreciating what we have received from nature. Make full efforts to justify that we deserve all of it.
